Best Live Music Venues in Little Rock
Little Rock punches above its weight for a metro of this size. Three rooms within a mile of each other carry most of the touring calendar, and each one does a different job. Here is how to pick the right one.

My Favorite Thing About Stickyz
It is the only room in town where the show feels like it is happening in the same space you are standing in. The stage is low, the ceiling is close, and there is no barrier between the band and the front row. When a touring act that will play a 1,200-cap room in Nashville the next night plays Stickyz, you are standing eight feet from them. That does not happen in most cities anymore.
The second-best thing is that it is a restaurant that grew a music venue, not the other way around. The chicken fingers are genuinely good, the kitchen runs through most of the night, and you can eat a real dinner at a table and then stand up and be at the show.
What to Know
- Capacity is small, roughly 300 standing. Sold-out shows feel sold out.
• Buy tickets in advance. Walk-up availability for regional headliners is unreliable.
• The bar on the right side of the room is the fastest during set breaks.
• Order food before the opener finishes. Ticket volume slows the kitchen.
Rev Room

The Rev Room is the mid-size workhorse - louder, taller, and better suited to a band that needs a real PA. The floor is wide open, which is great for a crowd that wants to move and less great if you are short. The balcony solves that, and it runs cooler than the floor on a summer night.
What to Know
- Get there for the opener if you want the rail; the floor fills unevenly.
• The balcony is the best seat in the house for sound.
• Their ticket pages link directly from their calendar - buy there rather than through a resale listing.
The Hall
721 W 9th St, Little Rock, AR 72201
The newest of the three and the one built with intent. Sightlines are the best in the city, the room is stepped so you are not staring at a shoulder, and the sound system was specified for the space rather than inherited from it. It draws bigger national touring names than the other two.
What to Know
- Doors and show times are usually further apart here - check both.
• The 9th Street area is quieter after shows than the River Market; plan your ride accordingly.
• Bag policy is stricter than the smaller rooms.
Beyond the Big Three
- Four Quarter Bar, Argenta, North Little Rock - late-night, no cover on many nights, blues and roots leaning. The kitchen runs late.
• White Water Tavern - the beloved dive with the best songwriter bookings in the state. Small, hot, and worth it.
• Robinson Center Performance Hall - for the orchestra, Broadway tours, and seated national acts.
• First Security Amphitheater - outdoor riverfront shows, mostly spring and fall.
Parking and Getting Around
The River Market garage on Commerce Street is the default for Stickyz and Rev Room - about 5 dollars after 6 p.m. Street parking on Second Street is free after 6 p.m. but competitive. For The Hall, the surface lots along 9th Street are usually open on show nights.
If you are seeing shows at more than one venue in a night, park once downtown and walk. Stickyz to Rev Room is a three-minute walk.
