The first genuinely fall-feeling weekend in central Arkansas usually shows up in mid-September, and BoBrook Farms times its It's Fall Y'all Vendor Market to catch it. The farm sits on Combee Lane in Roland, about 20 minutes west of downtown Little Rock past Pinnacle Mountain, and for two days it turns into an open-air shopping field with more than 60 local vendors, food trucks, and a winery pouring by the glass.
Admission is free. That is the part worth repeating, because most fall festivals within driving distance charge at the gate.
When it happens
Saturday, September 12: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, September 13: noon to 5 p.m.
Saturday is the bigger day by a wide margin. If you want first pick of the handmade goods, come between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. If you want elbow room and a slower stroll, Sunday afternoon is the calmer half of the weekend.
What you will actually find
Sixty-plus vendors is a real number here, not marketing rounding. Expect the mix that defines Arkansas fall markets: candles and soaps, woodwork, hand-poured pottery, jams and honey, seasonal wreaths, kids' clothing, screen-printed tees, and a fair amount of holiday decor showing up early. Food trucks handle lunch, and River Bottom Winery, BoBrook's own operation, pours wine while you shop.
The setting does a lot of the work. You are shopping in a working farm field with vineyard rows and rolling hills behind the tents rather than in a convention hall, and the light in the late afternoon is the reason people keep posting photos of this one.
Bringing kids
This is one of the easier family outings on the September calendar. There is room to run, the grass is flat, and nobody minds a stroller in the aisles. The trade-off is that the terrain is grass and gravel, so a wagon rolls better than a small-wheeled stroller.
Getting there and parking
BoBrook Farms is at 13810 Combee Ln, Roland, AR 72135. From downtown Little Rock, take I-430 north to Highway 10 west, then follow signs past Pinnacle Mountain State Park. Parking is on-farm and free, in a mowed field, and it fills from the entrance outward. Rain earlier in the week means soft ground, so leave the low-clearance car at home if central Arkansas has had a wet stretch.
Cash, cards, and practical notes
Most vendors take cards or a phone-based payment app, but a few of the smaller booths are cash-only and there is no ATM on site. Bring a tote bag, sunscreen, and water. Shade is limited between the tent rows.
Make a day of it
You are already at the foot of Pinnacle Mountain. Pair the market with a morning hike on the West Summit Trail before the 11 a.m. opening, or drive the extra few minutes to Two Rivers Park for a flat riverside walk afterward. Either way you are back in Little Rock in time for dinner.
A note for would-be vendors
BoBrook accepts vendor applications only through their own website at bobrookfarms.com. The farm has publicly warned that people posing as organizers reach out through social media messages and comments. If someone messages you asking for a booth fee, it is not them.
